If you’re used to getting almost daily iOS apps on your device, then Apple’s App Store probably feels like it’s been around for quite a long time now. But most likely, some of you will be surprised to know that it was actually opened on July 10, 2008, which means we’re nearing its 5th anniversary. And how else to mark this important moment for Apple and iOS users all over than world than by making free some popular paid iOS apps.
What’s awesome is that all of these apps, at least until now, are free for the first time ever. And what’s even more awesome is that some of them had quite big prices before. Since this is an early finding, we’ll be updating the post with more games as we find them. At the moment, we also don’t know for how long will they stay free, so you definitely need to hurry and get them all on your iPhone, iPad or iPod.

One of the apps that had quite a big price is Traktor DJ, which normally sells for $19.99. However, this is the iPad version and the price makes sense, since it’s aimed at professional DJ’s. It’s curious to note that not even the app developers themselves have announced the update on their App Store pages, which they might do quite soon.
